We are Joey and Luann Cantrell, missionaries of Liberty Ministries. We have a passion for Christ and spreading His word to those in need; the lost and the broken. Our goal is to reach those who have been forgotten or cast side by society and show them the word of God, that Christ has not forsaken them, and that they may accept the gift of eternal life so freely offered to them.

Founded in 2007 by

Dr. Jack Collins,

Liberty Ministries has grown to serve the Texas Prison System, focusing on providing hope and salvation to those who are incarcerated.

In 2020, we took over this ministry from Dr. Collins, motivated by our passion of spreading the message of the gospel and helping people find freedom in Jesus. We offer a variety of services, including spiritual guidance, counseling, and support for those within the Texas prison system seeking a relationship with God. Our goal is to continue to be an inspiration and beacon of hope to inmates within the state.
